Full-credit summer learning courses are intended for students who will enter grade 10, 11, or 12 in the coming school year (unless exceptions are noted).
Please note attendance is mandatory. Students who miss two classes will be automatically withdrawn.
Classes will run, in-person, at New Westminster Secondary School on the following days for the 2025 summer period:
- Monday to Friday from July 2 to August 1 in the morning and afternoon.
- Morning classes run from 8:20 a.m. to 12 p.m.
- Afternoon classes run from 12:30 p.m. to 4:10 p.m.
How to register
Registration is open to students who are currently enrolled within the mini传媒 (SD40) system and to students from other schools and districts. In-district students will receive priority.
Fees will apply per course for international students.

Register as an in-district student
Students are considered 鈥渋n-district鈥 if they are currently enrolled in a School District 40 school. The following form is only for in-district students. Submissions of this form by out-of-district students will not be processed (instead, please see the “Register as an out-of-district student” section below).
Register as an out-of-district student
Out-of-district students must fill-in the Out-of-District Summer Learning Enrollment Form and have their school day counsellor complete their portion of the form. To register, please complete the form and email it to registrations@sd40.bc.ca.
Note: incomplete application forms will not be processed.
